Gary R. Herbert has announced that the long speculated $4,000 grant is finally here!  It will be virtually the same as the previous grant, except for a couple thousand less, and it can be used on uncompleted homes.

There were a few rumors that the government was going to allow this money to be used for any Utah home purchase, wether it was new or not.  The reason would have been solely for political gain.  The money would have touched more voters that way, but would have been gone in about a month or two.  It is nice to know that the state elected officials chose to do the right thing and offer "stimulus" money that will actually stimulate!  Not just buy votes!
